While the game of Redemption can be a source of great fun and fellowship, it can also be a bit daunting to jump into when you first discover it. For a game that has existed for over 30 years at this point, there's not a lot of easily accessible content if you don't know how to locate it. Many of the reasons for that is that this game has mostly existed as a true Christian hobby game and the publishers have never sought to market it for large corporate profits. While there are downsides to that such as Google and other search engines not pointing people in the best direction to learn about the game, it also has its upsides such as the close knit community this game fosters. Many of the best resources for learning and getting started with the game have been created by members of this wonderful community, much like this podcast platform we have created. We hope you find this game and its community to be source of joy and fellowship that honor God. To help get you started on your way to hopefully learning about the game and then playing the game, we have put together some resources for you below.
First and foremost, we strongly encourage you to join our official community Discord server. The best way to familiarize yourself with the cards of Redemption and get started crafting your own decks is by using RedemptionCCG.App. Here you can search through the vast library of Redemption cards and apply various filters to locate the exact cards you need. The decks you craft here can be kept private or you can easily share them with the Redemption community by marking them public. The public decks allow you to spotlight up to 2 cards and also provide commentary on the deck that will be made available to others who view your decks. This is a valuable resource for all players, but especially newer players as you can see decks that have been shared by established players. From the deck viewer, you can easily generate a decklist PDF which serves as your official decklist for tournaments you may attend.
